Pinus strobus ‘Diggy’

Pinus strobus ‘Diggy’ – dwarf variation of eastern white pine;

  • thick, conical habit – initially might be irregular, 
  • slow growth – reaches 100 cm after 10 years, 
  • blue-green needles, different needle lengths – variation seems to be ‘unkempt’,
  • requires permeable and moderate garden soils, 
  • likes sunlit or semi-shaded positions,
  • for collector’s, home gardens as well as for containers.
