- long, firm, light-green needles. From autumn until spring they turn yellow,
- requires permeable, slightly acidic soils,
- should planted in sunlit positions,
- grows well in lee positions,
- good for home and oriental gardens or as a solitary tree,
- -25 C frost resistance.
