  • grows spherical in early years, it may produce a stem further on,
  • reaches 1,5 m and 1m width in 10 years,
  • green and slightly twisted needles,
  • characterized by  needles of two lengths,
  • requires sandy  slightly acidic soils, grows well in sunlit and partially shaded positions,
  • recommended for rockery or home gardens.
