Pinus densiflora ‘Fastigiata’ – compact, conical variation of Japanese red pine;
- reaches 3 m growth and 1,5 m width in 10 years,
- soft, light-green needles,
- no major soil requirements. Grows well in moderate garden soils,
- good for sunlit and partly shaded positions,
- recommended for urban planting, parks, home gardens, group planting, hedges and as a solitary tree.
Variation does not require cutting.
