Pinus sylvestris ‘Watereri’

Pinus sylvestris ‘Watereri’ – most common variation of Scots pine of characterised by a blue colour;

  • acervate habit, 
  • yearly growth of 30 cm,
  • medium-length, blue-green needles, 
  • grows well in sandy and permeable soils, 
  • should be planted in sunlit or semi-shaded positions, 
  • good for home gardens, parks, group planting and free arrangements as well as a solitaire tree. 

Found in England in 1865.
