Pinus sylvestris ‘Watereri’ – most common variation of Scots pine of characterised by a blue colour;
- acervate habit,
- yearly growth of 30 cm,
- medium-length, blue-green needles,
- grows well in sandy and permeable soils,
- should be planted in sunlit or semi-shaded positions,
- good for home gardens, parks, group planting and free arrangements as well as a solitaire tree.
Found in England in 1865.
