Pinus strobus ‘Ontario’

Pinus strobus ‘Ontario’ – dwarf variation of eastern white pine;

  • thick, spherical habit,
  • reaches 70 cm diameter after 10 years,
  • green-blue needles,
  • characterised by two-length needles. Medium length with first tree increment and short needles with summer tree increment,
  • good for sunlit and partly shaded positions,
  • grows well in moderate garden, slightly acidic and humid soils,
  • recommended for containers, home gardens and group planting.
