Pinus strobus ‘Ontario’ – dwarf variation of eastern white pine;
- thick, spherical habit,
- reaches 70 cm diameter after 10 years,
- green-blue needles,
- characterised by two-length needles. Medium length with first tree increment and short needles with summer tree increment,
- good for sunlit and partly shaded positions,
- grows well in moderate garden, slightly acidic and humid soils,
- recommended for containers, home gardens and group planting.
