Cedrus deodara ‘Karl Fuchs’ – blue variation of Deodar cedar;

  • loose, conical habit,
  • fast-growth variation – reaches 3 metres in 10 years,
  • blue needles,
  • grows well in moderate soils in sunlit or partly shaded but lee positions,
  • recommended for home gardens, parks or as a solitaire tree.

Frost-resistant variation. Found among seedlings from Afghanistan.
