Abies koreana ‘Silberlocke’

Abies koreana ‘Silberlocke’ (syn. ‘Silver Curls’, ‘Silverlock’, ‘Silverlade’, ‘Horstmann’s Silberlocke’) – variation of Korean fir;

  • wide-conical habit, 
  • grows rapidly – reaches 2 metres in 10 years,
  • silvery-green needles,
  • characteristic feature are twisted needles,
  • grows well on permeable soils in sunlit and partially shaded positions,
  • recommended for parks, home gardens and as a solitaire tree.
