Thuja plicata ‘Whipcord’

Thuja plicata ‘Whipcord’ – one of the most interesting variation of western red cedar;

  • compact and weeping habit, 
  • slow growth, reaches 50 cm of height and width after 10 years,
  • long, soft and dark-green needles, 
  • characterised by a threadlike shoots, 
  • grows well in moderate, garden soils, 
  • recommended sunlit and partly shaded positions,
  • good for home gardens, rockeries, balconies and for containers. 

This unique plant presents especially well grafted onto the trunk.
