Thuja plicata ‘Whipcord’ – one of the most interesting variation of western red cedar;
- compact and weeping habit,
- slow growth, reaches 50 cm of height and width after 10 years,
- long, soft and dark-green needles,
- characterised by a threadlike shoots,
- grows well in moderate, garden soils,
- recommended sunlit and partly shaded positions,
- good for home gardens, rockeries, balconies and for containers.
This unique plant presents especially well grafted onto the trunk.
