Sciadopitys verticillata ‘Grüne Kügel’ – Japanese umbrella pine of compact, ovoidal habit;
- grows up to 80 cm and 60 cm width in 10 years,
- has short, firm and dark-green needles,
- similar to any Japanese umbrella pines requires lee positions and humous, permeable soils,
- should be planted in sunlit or semi-shaded positions,
- recommended mainly for home and oriental gardens.
One of the most compact and thick variations of Japanese umbrella pine.
