Pinus nigra ‘Oregon Green’

Pinus nigra ‘Oregon Green’ (syn. ‘Oregon Jade’, ‘Select Green’) – one of the most unique variations of black pine of irregular, effuse habit;

  • fast growth rate – reaches 3 m height and 2 meters width after 10 years, 
  • firm, dark-green needles,
  • characterised by white buds, 
  • no major soil requirements, 
  • grows well in sunlit or partly shaded positions, 
  • for urban planting, parks, as solitare tree, but also for home gardens and group planting. 

Frequently picked for urban planting due to frost and pollution resistance.
