Pinus nigra ‘Nana’ – slow growth variation of black pine;

  • compact, spherical habit,
  • annual growth 10-15 cm,
  • firm, dark-green needles,
  • grows well in moderate, garden soils,
  • good for sunlit and partly shaded positions,
  • suitable for parks, rockery or home gardens.

Variation originated in the Netherlands by F.J. Grootendorst.
