Pinus nigra ‘Nana’ – slow growth variation of black pine;
- compact, spherical habit,
- annual growth 10-15 cm,
- firm, dark-green needles,
- grows well in moderate, garden soils,
- good for sunlit and partly shaded positions,
- suitable for parks, rockery or home gardens.
Variation originated in the Netherlands by F.J. Grootendorst.
