Pinus nigra ‘Hornibrookiana’ – dwarf variation of black pine;

  • compact, hemispherical habit, 
  • slow growth rate – reaches 1,5 m after 10 years,
  • dark-green needles,
  • variation grows well in moderate soils,
  • good for sunlit and partly shaded positions,
  • often used for urban planting, parks, a rockery or home gardens and as a solitaire tree.

Variation found as a witches’ broom in the USA.
