Pinus mugo ‘Ophir’ – hemispherical selection of Mugo pine;
- grows very slowly – after 10 years reaches 45 cm and 60 cm width,
- light-green needles that turn lemon color in winter,
- requires permeable. Good for sunlit positions,
- perfect for home gardens, parks, rockeries, urban planting and for containers.
Frost-resistant variation. Originated by Kraan, Netherlands, and introduced c.1975.
