Pinus mugo ‘Mops’

Pinus mugoMops’ – common variation of Mugo pine;

  • globose, compact habit,
  • reaches 70 cm after 10 years,
  • dark-green needles,
  • grows well in permeable soils and sunlit positions,
  • especially recommended for home gardens, as well as rockeries and urban planting, containers. Presents well for free arrangements.

Variation found as a witches’ broom in Nederland. Does not require cutting. It was awarded at Royal Horticultural Society.
