Pinus mugo ‘Jacobsen’

Pinus mugo ‘Jacobsen’ – unique variation of Mugo pine of partly fasciated; 

  • compact, irregular variation, 
  • slow growth of about 5 cm a year, 
  • short, dark-green needles, 
  • characterised by fasciated shoots and white buds, 
  • no major soil requirements, 
  • grows well  in sunlit and semi-shaded positions, 
  • good for home gardens, rockeries, containers and balconies.
