Pinus densiflora ‘Rainbow’ – unique variation of Japanese red pine with oculus draconis effect;
- acervate, compact habit,
- slow growth pine, yearly growth of 20 cm,
- green and yellow needles composing characteristic oculus draconis effect (‘dragon’s eye’),
- grows well in moderate, permeable garden soils on sunlit positions
- recommended for home gardens, containers and colour group planting.
Much more compact that older variation of Pinus densiflora ‘Oculus Draconis’ at the same time colours more intensively.
