Pinus densiflora ‘Kim’ – dwarf variation of Japanese red pine;
- spherical, compact habit,
- reaches 60 cm diameter after 10 years,
- soft, green needles,
- requires permeable, slightly acidic soils. Grows well in sunlit or partly shaded positions,
- recommended for home gardens, containers or group planting.
Sensitive to chill, winter winds – it’s recommended to plant it among other plants or should be planted in lee positions.
