Pinus densiflora ‘Kim’

Pinus densiflora ‘Kim’ – dwarf variation of Japanese red pine;

  • spherical, compact habit,
  • reaches 60 cm diameter after 10 years,
  • soft, green needles,
  • requires permeable, slightly acidic soils. Grows well in sunlit or partly shaded positions,
  • recommended for home gardens, containers or group planting.

Sensitive to chill, winter winds – it’s recommended to plant it among other plants or should be planted in lee positions.
