Pinus contorta ‘Taylor’s Sunburst’

Pinus contorta ‘Taylor’s Sunburst’ – variation of logepole pine of wide-conical growth;

  • growth similar to the species. Yearly growth of 20 cm,
  • medium-length, dark-green needles, 
  • characterised by a yellow spring tree-increment and small, red cones, 
  • grows well in moderate soils. Does not have major soil requirements, 
  • grows well in sunlit and semi-shaded positions, 
  • recommended for home gardens, group planting or as a solitaire tree.

Rare on the market. Variation found by Allan Taylor.
