Picea sitchensis ‘Silberzwerg’ (syn. ‘Nana Oltmans’) – spherical, compact variation of Sitka spruce;
- dwarf variation – reaches 70 cm height and 50 cm width after 10 years,
- blue-green needles, silvery bottom,
- grows well in permeable soil and in sunlit and partially shaded positions,
- good for home gardens, rockeries, urban green and containers of balconies.
Presents impressively grafted onto a trunk. Variation found as a witches’ broom by Georg Oltmas.
