Picea pungens ‘Pali’ – dwarf variation of Colorado spruce;
- thick, spherical habit,
- grows slowly – reaches 50 cm diameter in 10 years,
- short, light-blue needles,
- tolerant plant – grows well in moderate soils,
- good for sunlit positions,
- home gardens, rockeries, for containers and balconies.
Often encountered as a grafted plant on a stem. Variation comes from Hungary.
