Picea pungens ‘Glauca Globosa’

Picea pungens ‘Glauca Globosa’ (syn. ‘Globosa’) – variation of Colorado spruce of compact and acervate habit;

  • grows hemispherically in early years, it may produce a stem further on,
  • dwarf variation – after 10 years reaches 100 cm diameter,
  • firm, blue needles, 
  • does not have soil requirements, 
  • grows well in sunlit or partly shaded positions, 
  • for home gardens or containers.

Often grafted onto the trunk.
