Picea orientalis ‘Skylands’

Picea orientalis ‘Skylands’ (syn. ‘Aurea Compacta’) – conical variation of Oriental spruce of yellow colour;

  • reaches 2 metres in 10 years, 
  • short, yellow needles, 
  • grows well in moderate garden soils, 
  • requires partly shaded positions. Vulnerable to burning during dry and hot summer,
  • recommended for home gardens, as a solitary tree and for group colour planting.
