Picea abies ‘Cruenta’ (syn. ‘Crusita’, ‘Lundell’s Red Needle’) – unique variation of Norway spruce of red tree-increment;

- growth rate similar to general kind, reaches 2 m and 1,5 m width in 10 years,
- short, dark-green needles,
- characteristic features are spring red tree-increments. After 2-3 weeks of growth they regain green colour,
- tolerant plant,
- likes sunlit and partly shaded positions,
- good for parks, urban green, home gardens and group planting.
