Chamaecyparis lawsoniana ‘Karaca’ – one of the most unique variation of Lawson’s cypress;
- drooping, loose habit,
- fast growth rate – reaches 2,5 metres height in 10 year,
- long, yellow needles,
- special feature are threadlike shoots,
- grows well in moderate soils in sunlit or partly-shaded positions,
- recommended for parks, as solitaire tree or for home gardens,
- frost-resistant plant. You need to be careful of spring frosts.
Variation most likely comes from Turkey.
